Over the Youth Day long weekend, the Milton Road toilet blocks on the Sea Point Promenade received a vibrant makeover with the addition of three new art murals. This creative initiative, led by SJ Artists, has brought a splash of colour and artistic flair to the area.
The murals were painted by three talented local artists: Russell Abrahams, also known as Yay Abe; Amy Braaf, who goes by the name Hakopike; and Mika Revell, known as Little Pink Pills. Each artist contributed their unique style and vision to transform the once plain walls into captivating works of art.
This project not only enhances the aesthetic appeal of the Promenade but also celebrates local talent, adding to the cultural richness of our community.
