What is SCI? The Safety & Cleansing Initiative (SCI) is a collaborative effort by the Sea Point, Fresnaye & Bantry Bay Ratepayers & Residents Association (SFBRRA) aimed at enhancing the quality of life in our neighborhoods. Operating along Beach Road, up the streets leading to Main and Regent Roads, and targeting specific roads below High Level Road, SCI focuses on fostering safety and cleanliness in these areas.
How Does SCI Work? Apartment blocks in the designated areas are invited to join SCI for a nominal fee of R75 per apartment per month. This contribution enables us to fund Project Hope for cleansing services and Avenue Response for safety measures.
Key Components:
- Project Hope: Project Hope plays a vital role in maintaining cleanliness in our community. Their efforts not only keep our streets tidy but also contribute to social development in the area.
- Avenue Response: Avenue Response provides the safety component of SCI. Members can rely on their security response team to address any incidents or potentially dangerous activities in the vicinity of their building promptly.
Membership Benefits: By becoming an SCI member, all owners of apartment blocks automatically gain SFBRRA membership, amplifying your voice and influence within the community.
