casting vote in election

As the 2024 South African general elections approach, it is crucial for all eligible residents within our association’s jurisdiction to know where to cast their votes. The elections, organized by the Independent Electoral Commission (IEC), are scheduled to take place on Wednesday, 29 May 2024.

While the Sea Point, Fresnaye & Bantry Bay Ratepayers & Residents Association is a non-politically affiliated, volunteer-led organization, we encourage you to participate and vote in the upcoming elections, in order to make your voice heard.

Voting Stations: Please find below the designated voting stations for our area, based on where you registered your home address with the IEC.

These voting stations will be open from 07:00 to 21:00 on Election Day. It’s essential to plan your schedule accordingly, as there may be queues, especially during peak hours. Remember, no votes may be cast before or after these times.

We recommend double checking your voting station & eligibility with the IEC – see resources below.
