On May 22, 2024, a dedicated ranger team from the Northern Section of Table Mountain National Park undertook a significant litter clean-up operation in the Sea Point and Signal Hill precincts, areas adjacent to the park. The effort was a resounding success, resulting in the removal of illegal structures and the collection of two truckloads of litter.
This initiative highlights the ongoing commitment of SANParks to maintaining the natural beauty and environmental health of the region. The ranger team’s hard work not only enhances the aesthetics of these popular areas but also contributes to the preservation of local wildlife habitats.
