Please be advised that Church Road, Sea Point will be temporarily closed this weekend, Saturday and Sunday, 20 and 21 July 2024, as the developers at the Dolce Vita site, R+N Master Builders, position a Tower Crane.

The road will be closed at the head at Beach Road and Regent Road and will not be accessible as a thoroughfare.

Residents of The Odeon, Mimosa Court and Pavilion Place will have one-way access in and out of Beach Road.

Details of the Closure:

  • Dates: Saturday and Sunday, 20 and 21 July 2024
  • Times: 07:00 – 17:00
  • Reason: Positioning of a Tower Crane at the Dolce Vita site
  • Alternative Dates: Should weather conditions prevent the work from taking place on the above dates, the closure will occur the following weekend, 27 and 28 July 2024.

Access for Residents:

  • Flagmen on Duty: R+N Master Builders will station flagmen at the head of Church Road at both Regent Road and Beach Road.
  • Resident Access: Flagmen will allow access only to residents of The Odeon, Mimosa Court, and Pavilion Place from Beach Road.
